ETFBOOK Named ETF Data Provider of the Year at the ETF Stream Awards 2025

ETFBOOK and Janus Henderson join forces

ETFBOOK has been named ETF Data Provider of the Year at the ETF Stream Awards 2025, presented on 26 November at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London.

Now in their fifth year, the awards recognise the firms and products that have shaped the European ETF industry over the preceding twelve months.

What the award recognises

The award is recognition of the team's work building transparent, high-quality ETF data infrastructure for asset managers, investors and the broader ecosystem. From the start, ETFBOOK has been built for every participant in the ETF value chain rather than a single segment: issuers, index providers, fund service providers, market makers, exchanges and buy-side institutions all work from the same platform, delivered through a web application and APIs.

That design choice matters more as the European ETF market grows. The larger and more competitive the market becomes, the more its participants depend on data that is consistent across venues, domiciles and product types, and the more costly fragmented or opaque data becomes for the firms that rely on it.

The award caps a year of growth

The recognition arrives at the end of a year in which ETFBOOK took on its first external capital. In February 2025, the company closed a €4 million Series A round led by BlackFin Capital Partners, the European investment firm specialised in financial services, to fund product development, expanded data coverage and entry into the US market. The client base has continued to grow from the more than 35 institutional firms the company served at the time of the raise.

What comes next

An industry award belongs, in large part, to the clients and partners whose demands shape the product. ETFBOOK thanks its clients, partners and the wider ETF community for their trust, and for constantly pushing the platform forward.

The bar is now higher, and the company intends to raise it again: there is a great deal more planned for 2026.
