ETFBOOK, the Zürich-based ETF data and analytics platform, has been shortlisted for ETF Data Provider of the Year at the ETF Stream Awards 2026. ETFBOOK won the category in 2025 and is aiming to keep the title. Winners will be announced on 3 December at the Royal Lancaster in London.

It has been a record year for the European ETF market. By September, net inflows had already passed 2025's full-year total, according to ETFBOOK data, and nearly 500 new ETFs have launched so far this year. Each launch adds share classes, listings, tickers and other data that have to be matched to the right fund before anyone can use the numbers.

2026 so far: Funding, AI and ETFBOOK 2.0

We spent the year making sure our data kept pace. In September we announced a $13 million funding round led by Expedition Growth Capital, with participation from existing investor BlackFin Capital Partners, to expand our data coverage and build our presence beyond Europe. AI now runs across our data pipeline, working to rules our data team sets and checks. A new data point can now go from ingestion to the platform within a single sprint.

Clients moved onto ETFBOOK 2.0, which not only updates the interface, but also adds modules for market volumes, spread monitoring, peer benchmarking and product revenue, just to name a few of the new capabilities. We now track 3,900+ ETFs in Europe alone and 11,000+ globally, with data updated daily on a T+1 basis.

The past year also showed how far our data now travels. A growing number of partners, including Vanguard, HANetf and Jane Street, publish ETFBOOK figures in their own publicly available European market research.

Thank you to our clients, partners, and to the ETF Stream team and judges for recognising our journey.
